Founders’ Story
Wounded Soldiers Africa was built from a place of firsthand understanding, not just observation. As someone who has served and operated in high-tempo environments, I’ve seen what service takes out of a person physically, mentally, and emotionally. What stood out to me over time wasn’t just the sacrifice, but what happens after the mission ends.
In many parts of Africa, wounded soldiers return home without the structure, support, or resources needed to rebuild their lives. There’s no clear transition, no consistent system, and too often, no one checking on them once the uniform comes off. That gap is what led to the creation of Wounded Soldiers Africa.
This foundation is about restoring dignity, not just offering help. It’s about making sure those who served don’t get left behind once they’re no longer in the fight. We focus on real outcomes rehabilitation, mental health support, reintegration, and giving veterans the tools to stand on their own again.

Founders’ Story
WSA was founded by individuals who witnessed firsthand the silent struggles of wounded veterans across Nigeria. Motivated by a deep sense of duty and compassion, they created an organization dedicated to ensuring that no injured soldier is left behind after service.
Why Nigeria?
Nigeria has one of Africa’s largest military populations, with many veterans returning from conflict zones with physical injuries and psychological trauma. Support systems remain limited, leaving many unable to reintegrate into civilian life.
WSA focuses on Nigeria first, with plans to expand across Africa as capacity grows.
Our Vision
We want to see communities where veterans are not seen as burdens, but as assets. Leaders. Providers. Mentors. Men and women who have already proven discipline, resilience, and commitment now given the tools to redirect that into building their own future.
The vision is about restoration. Not just physically, but mentally, economically, and socially.
The end state is this: a system where service is honored beyond the battlefield, and every wounded soldier has a clear, supported path forward.
